IBA Bird Blitz 2009: Results from Western Maryland

During 2009, breeding season surveys for at-risk bird species were conducted in Garrett, Allegany, and Washington Counties as part of a statewide effort to identify new Maryland Important Bird Areas. Come find out the results of this volunteer-based bird conservation effort in western Maryland, including IBA status updates, as well as how you can get involved.
